Please give me the fullness of devotion and empty my mind of evils like lust and desires. ' The mind can be made devoid of desires by filling it with devotion. It may take time,  but this is the only way. No shortcut is possible. Amulets cannot work in spiritual life. Without concentration, no one can exist in the world. Give that power of concentration a new channel. A spiritual mood should be maintained throughout the day. Nobody needs no it; silently, quietly, we can keep up our higher mood, without any outward show. LOVE FOR THE DIVINE MOTHERIt is said that Sri Ramakrishna by His worship had awakened Mother Kali in Her image at Dakshineswar. What does it mean? Is it true that the deity sleeps and the worshipper through his worship awakens the deity? When a devotee calls, the Lord manifests Himself through the image or any symbol adopted by the devotee. Sri Ramakrishna,  through His loving worship, awakened Kali the Mother, there in Dakshineswar.
