We are sorry to announce the sudden passing away of Swami Abhiramananda Ji (Shivakumar Maharaj), Assistant General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math, and Ramakrishna Mission.
Till the afternoon of 7 June, he was quite happy and followed his daily routine cheerfully. However, since the evening of that day, he was missing from his room. After a frantic search, his dead body was found floating on the Ganges, near Belur Math Jetty Ghat, today (8 June) at about 8.15 am. He was 65. Cremation will be held at Belur Math tonight (8 June 2018) at 9.15 pm.
