CONSECRATION OF SRI RAMAKRISHNA’S NEW TEMPLE AT BELUR MATH

 On Friday, 14 January 1938, Swami Vijnanananda got up early in the morning and put on a new ochre cloth. He sat discreetly in his seat, hanging tight for the favorable minute. He said to his specialist: "When I will introduce the Master in the new sanctuary, I will say to Swamiji: 'Your sanctified god has now been introduced in the sanctuary you arranged, you said that you would watch from a lofty position. Kindly observe since the Master is situated in the new sanctuary.'" He said later, "At that point, I strikingly observed Swamiji, Rakhal Maharaj, Mahapurush Maharaj, Sarat Maharaj, Hari Maharaj, Gangadhar Maharaj, and others remaining in the southwest corner viewing the sanctification function."
