Swami Pratyaganandaji (Mahesh Maharaj) 86 year old was suffering from bronchial asthma since 1970. He had a myocardial infarction in 2002. He underwent coronary artery bypass in 2003, and reinfarction in 2016 & 2017. His heart function had become very weak -- ejection fraction less than 35, consequently he was getting recurrent chest pain and exertional dyspnea. On 3rd December 2019, he attained spiritual class at 8.30am. At 10 am or so developed severe chest pain with sweating. He was immediately shifted to the hospital but he passed away within a few minutes of sudden cardiac arrest.
