“"Extraordinary things should be possible by incredible forfeits as it were. No self-centeredness, no name, no popularity, yours or mine, nor my Master's even! Work, work the thought, the arrangement, my young men, my darling, respectable, great spirits – to the wheel, to the wheel put your shoulders! Stop not to search for name, or acclaim, or any such jabber. Toss self over the edge and work… The Lord's favors on all of you – as I trust it is as of now… Up, up, the difficult night is passing, the day is drawing nearer, the wave has risen, nothing will probably oppose its tidal fierceness. The soul, my young men, the soul; the adoration, my kids, the affection; the confidence, the conviction; and dread not! The best sin is dread."”
