Be that as it may, it isn't egotistical confidence, on the grounds that the Vedanta, once more, is the precept of unity. It implies confidence in taking all things together, on the grounds that you are all. Love for yourselves implies love for all, affection for creatures, love for everything, for you are each of the ones. It is a great faith which will
make the world better. (CW.II.301)
For
you must always remember that the one central idea of Vedanta is
this oneness. There are no two in anything, no two lives, nor
even two different kinds of life for the two worlds…There is but
one life, one world, one existence. Everything is that One, the
difference is in degree and not in kind. (CW.II.297)
