Swami Bhuteshananda was conceived on 8 September 1901 at Somsar in Bengal Presidency.

His devout name was Sri Vijay Chandra Roy.

His Father was named Sri Purna Chandra Roy and his mom,

Charubala Devi.

In 1921 Swami Saradananda started Vijay with Mantradiksha at the Mother's home.

He was given with the pledges of Brahmacharya by Swami Shivananda in 1923 on Holy mother's birthday,

and was named 'Priya Chaitanya'.

In 1936,

he has delegated the leader of the Sri Ramakrishna Math,

Shillong.

In 1945,

he was named as the leader of Rajkot Math.

In 1965,

Swami Bhuteshanandaji was named as one of the Trustees and a Member of the Governing assemblage of Sri Ramakrishna Mission.

In 1975,

Swami Bhuteshanandaji got one of the Vice-Presidents of the Order and moved over to Sri Ramakrishna Math Kankurgachi Yogodyan,

a suburb of Kolkata.

Following the passing of Swami Gambhirananda, the eleventh president of the Order,

in 1989,

he turned into the twelfth president Swami Bhuteshanandaji.

During twenty-three years as Vice -President,

and President of the Order Sri Ramakrishna Math and Sri Ramakrishna Mission Belur Howrah,

he made a trip to numerous nations including

and conveyed the goals and thoughts of Ramakrishna-Mother-Vivekananda to countless individuals.
