We
are sorry to announce the passing away of Swami Anasaktananda
(Martin) at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, USA, on 7 April 2020 at
11.20 am local time (8.50 pm as per Indian Standard Time). He was 82 Old.
On 22 March2020, He suffered a heart attack and was admitted to the
hospital, where he subsequently tested positive for COVID-19
pandemic. Initiated by Swami Nikhilanandaji Maharaj, he joined the
order in 1973 at Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Center of New York, and
received sannyasa Diksha from Swami Bhuteshanandaji Maharaj in 1994.
All through his monastic life, He served the New York center with
great sincerity and devotion.
